Steve Ball is a long-time resident of Columbus, Ohio. He has played music in Central Ohio for over 30 years, both as a solo acoustic artist and in many bands.

Ball is influenced by all genres of music ranging from rock & roll, to trail music and western trio. His acoustic performances cover many artists, from Johnny Cash to John Prine and many others in between.

In addition to his solo sets, Ball also conducts lectures on the music of the American Civil War, during which he plays a prized 1860 Martin guitar. He has performed at Civil War events throughout the state for over 10 years.
